GAMMA goes to Asia

Opening Asian horizons with the help of partners
To support the company’s Asian expansion, ABRIS sponsored three banking industry events in the region in October and November. The impressive, high-energy events, namely the Temenos Regional Forums in Vietnam and Cambodia and the Bank of the Future Forum in Pakistan, were organized by partners Temenos and NDC Tech, respectively.
As such, these presented the perfect opportunity for the ABRIS team understand and engage with the local banking scene. We also used the events to continue our ongoing discussions with Temenos and catch up with our regional partners. Lastly, we gauged the interest for GAMMA in the region.
As ABRIS’ Global Sales Manager, Jorge Luis Proano-Mestra put it,
“It was my first visit to Vietnam, Pakistan and Cambodia. GAMMA enchants Vietnam
As a matter of fact, COO/CTO Viktor Weininger and Mr Proano returned to Vietnam at the end of November to meet several prospects. The meetings allowed the ABRIS team to go deeper into technical details, including client-specific particulars. After the introductory rounds, the sides soon discovered that they indeed speak the same language: Temenosian. In the course of the demos, ABRIS experts showed how the pain points cited by prospects can be addressed using our comprehensive IT operation tool GAMMA. The solution, designed specifically to assist in the day-to-day operation of Temenos Transact, seemed to have impressed the bank representatives around the table.
As a result, talks are scheduled to continue in the near future.
