TETRA

New generation test automation software based on Artificial Intelligence

TETRA has been designed with deep Temenos T24 knowledge and testing experience to assist testing with minimal external resource usage by automation and applying AI methodology, to simplify and accelerate the testing process. The test automation solution is fully integrated with Temenos T24 Core Banking system, operates based on the T24 database.

Why use Tetra test automation?

The intelligent test automation tool facilitates all fields of T24 testing by using AI to create Business Samples, generate rules for test case types (TCTs) and calculate expected values, and run real tests. The results are displayed on the user interface and can also be accessed in form of editable and easy-to-use reports.

The test automation tool is capable of recording test cases from user input as well as from the T24 transactional database (Big Data). TETRA’s artificial neural networks group the variety of contents into rules (rules are samples with the combination of possible input values), and enable them to learn the existing and the changing business logic behind test cases.

By using TCTs and checkpoints, TETRA can build Test Plans and execute tests with different user profiles. A test plan is a sequence of test cases and checkpoints that can cover a full banking product workflow. It is also possible to expand a test plan to the entire lifecycle of, for instance, a banking product.

TETRA contains predefined Business Cases with rules and expected values.

How does Tetra test automation work?

TETRA creates Test Cases either automatically from TCTs or manually through importing TCTs from Excel. The tool then checks the uniqueness of these, and defines rules for generating Test Cases multiple times.

TETRA records user inputs through capturing all activities of a T24 user session, then creates Test Cases from this data, which are then paired with TCTs. Test Cases are run through browser, the same way as a T24 user and the result is displayed. Evaluation can be done both manually and automatically by defining relevant output fields per Business Samples, redefining output fields on TCT level, manually defining expected values for TCT fields and, finally, comparing the results to expectations. The Test document is created in MS Word format and is based on the plan (from TCTs and enquiries) and contains inputs and results with browser screenshots.
