Automated Transact enquiries at Inteligo

Budapest, December 2022. Bahamas-based Inteligo Bank upgraded its core banking operations with Transact monitoring and automation by GAMMA. Inteligo is the second client of ABRIS in the LATAM region and altogether the 13th in the Americas.

Long discussions of Transact automation

Bahamas-based Inteligo Bank has successfully went live with GAMMA on its existing Temenos Transact core banking environments at its Panama branch. The Bank expressed its initial interest in the monitoring and automation tool years ago The conversation to ensure GAMMA was the optimum option for them has continued on and off ever since. Reference kindly offered by long-time GAMMA user, Chile’s LarrainVial also supported Inteligo’s decision.

 

Automated Transact enquiries

All in all, project delivery was smooth thanks to ideal response times and the great cooperation between the parties.. In the process, ABRIS fulfilled Inteligo’s request for custom features in COB automation, which included the automation of daily T24 enquiries.

As part of their day-to-day operations, Inteligo required its IT operations team to produce PDF and CSV reports based on Transact ENQUIRY outputs. The enquiries were started manually and exported using the browser’s built-in functions. This was a repetitive and time-consuming administrative task that prevented the bank’s experts from putting their time and expertise into more valuable IT challenges. Upon client request, ABRIS created a new GAMMA controller command, which runs automated Transact enquiries by custom schedule. Based on the command configuration the IT operator sets, GAMMA places the output of these enquiries in the required format to the requested folder.

Enjoying smooth core banking operations

The bank ran its first COB with GAMMA independently in September and praised it as “total success”. Stakeholders praised the tool claiming that

‘the simplicity of execution [of core banking processes] makes a real difference.’

ABRIS Global Sales Manager Jorge Luis Proano Mestra commented, 

‘During our visit to Panama City back in June this year, we met Alfredo and his team and they were very complimentary to our delivery team for their responsiveness and customer friendly approach. All challenges and issues were resolved in time that eventually resulted to another successful implementation.’
