ABRIS CEO Zsolt Godry in Kenya

Budapest, 06 August 2021. ABRIS CEO Zsolt Godry travelled to Kenya last week to meet with diplomats, local partners, Temenos representatives, and prospective clients. The CEO’s first business trip abroad since the beginning of the global COVID pandemic concluded with promising results.

As the first order of the day, Mr Godry was received by the Hungarian Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Zsolt Meszaros and the Economic and Commercial Attache, Zsofia Antal. The parties discussed the situation in Kenya in the pandemic and its effect on business relations. The meeting also served as a follow-up of their last in-person discussion which took place at the same location in 2018.

The Kenyan business environment was also a key topic of Mr Godry’s sessions with local partners, IntelliCom and Intracom. The following client meetings and the conversation with the local representatives of Temenos confirmed the partners’ insights. The IT operation hurdles the stakeholders have related are the same ones GAMMA was designed to help overcome. This suggests that there is significant business potential in Kenya and the region for ABRIS.

“It was good to meet our partners and prospects finally face to face in Nairobi after such a long time. The talks with our prospects and learning their requirements have reinforced our belief in products that focus on excellence in banking IT operation. We are focusing and pushing to deliver the best banking IT operation tools so our clients can focus on their core business – banking,” explains the CEO of ABRIS.

Although Mr Godry has since returned to the ABRIS HQ, the conversations of last week now continue remotely.
