GAMMA travels to Ethiopia and Kenya again

Budapest, 18 February 2021. Last week, ABRIS CEO Zsolt Godry and Global Sales Manager Jorge Proano Mestra visited Ethiopia and Kenya to promote GAMMA. The executives, assisted by diplomatic and business partners, met several prospects in both countries.

Strong partnerships promote core banking monitoring and automation by GAMMA

In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, ABRIS representatives were assisted threefold: by local diplomatic and business partners, as well as by Temenos. 

Esteemed diplomats of the Hungarian Embassy helped ABRIS connect with government-owned financial institutions. H.E. Attila Koppány Ambassador to Hungary and Mr Bálint Balogh Head of Trade and Economy notably arranged two out of four prospect meetings. Moreover, Temenos also referenced ABRIS and the GAMMA core banking management tool to one of these prospects.

Simultaneously, Mr Habtamu Taye and Mr Abel Chala of Advantech Africa also delivered valuable networking results. The local partner of ABRIS set the company up with two promising prospects.

Hakuna Matata in Nairobi

The situation was similar in Nairobi, Kenya. H.E. Zsolt Mészáros and Mr Richárd Farkas, Deputy Head of Trade and Development and Deputy Consul assisted ABRIS under their commitment to support Hungarian business interests.

Similarly, local partner Intellicom facilitated talks with two potential clients. While the names of the banks involved are confidential, we can safely disclose that ABRIS has, in the meantime, finished a POC at one prospect. At the moment, the evaluation of the project that demonstrated the core banking monitoring and automation capabilities of GAMMA is in progress.
