Al-Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank enhances core banking management with GAMMA
Budapest, January 2022. Yemen-based financial institution Al-Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank (KIMB) has chosen GAMMA for streamlining their Temenos Transact operation efforts. In brief, the tool’s monitoring and automation capabilities will enhance the operational safety of KIMB’s core banking platform. The tech-savvy Bank purchased the full stack GAMMA license in December 2021.
The road to enhanced core banking management
After the recent deployment of its Temenos Transact platform, KIMB was looking for an enterprise-level monitoring tool to finetune its new core banking operations. Advised by its local partner and system integrator, the Dubai-based M/s Seer Solutions, ABRIS proposed and conducted a proof-of-concept for GAMMA in Fall 2021. The performance of GAMMA in the POC convinced the Bank forthwith. As a result, KIMB signed the contract through Seer Solutions to procure the full stack license for the tool in December 2021.
Two-step implementation
In harmony with the intentions of the client, the GAMMA implementation will take place in two parts. The first stage of the deployment focuses on an initial monitoring scope. After that, the second stage will extend core banking monitoring to its fullest. The bank will, consequently, gain access to crucial IT operational data and minimize the detection time for challenging IT events. Additionally, automation will be introduced at this latter stage, streamlining the daily operation tasks for KIMB IT staff. This will, in essence, complete the deployment of enhanced core banking management. The implementation process will begin in early 2022.
