7 days, 7 countries, one T24 management tool
Budapest, April 2022. CEO Zsolt Godry and Global Sales Manager Jorge Proano returned to Africa once again at the end of March. The ABRIS representatives promoted its T24 management tool GAMMA to prospects under the aegis of strategic expansion on the continent.
7 countries – one T24 management tool
It seems that Africa and in-person meetings have a pull that ABRIS just can get enough of. This time, CEO Zsolt Godry and Global Sales Manager Jorge Proano spent a week touring Eastern and Southern African countries recently. They visited clients, prospects, and partners vis a vis. All in all, this busy trip touched seven countries.
This, of course, would not have been possible without help from diplomatic missions. In Maputo, Mozambique, Mr Godry and Mr Proano were assisted by Honorary Consul of Hungary in Angola, José Luís Dos S. Malunga. The visits to and meetings in Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda were facilitated by the Hungarian Embassy in Nairobi, Dr. János Terényi, Head of Office at the Hungarian Embassy in Kampala, and Honorary Consul of Hungary to Rwanda, Faustin Mbundu. Our sincerest thanks to all who have worked on the success of this tour.
Mozambique
In Maputo, the focal point of the visit was a face-to-face with representatives client Standard Bank Mozambique. The Bank’s core banking team leaders explained that they are happy with GAMMA as their choice of T24 operations tool. They emphasised that they were looking forward to the GAMMA TAFJ alignment that will accompany their T24 TAFJ conversion. ABRIS has recently completed a similar project at CIB EGYPT with reassuring results. In that case, GAMMA cast light on early conversion errors and this helped the project progress faster.
Eswatini
Next stop was Mbabane. Here, the ABRIS team visited a prospect. Talks were quite promising and sides agreed to follow-up soon.
Zimbabwe
In Harare, Mr. Godry and Mr. Proano were received by client CABS. One of the perks of the onsite, personal visit was that the ABRIS reps were admitted to the CABS monitoring command centre. This state-of-the art facility is fundamental to ensuring high availability of the bank’s services. We are proud that GAMMA is one of key applications of this project. The team also met three prospects in the frame of their stay.
Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda
In Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania ABRIS met a prospect. This time, this was not a private, but a government-owned entity. In Kigali, Rwanda and Kampala, Uganda the schedule was even busier with 3 and 2 prospect meetings respectively.
Kenya
In Nairobi, the team visited a prospect and caught up with Mitch Kilonzi, CEO of our respected partner Intellicom. Mr Godry and Mr Proano made time to cast their votes in the Hungarian election, which they both consider an essential duty.
