GAMMA monitoring goes live at Vancity

Vancouver, Canada, 26 November 2016—Vancouver City Savings Credit Union (Vancity) went live with ABRIS’ GAMMA monitoring for Temenos T24. The implemented version also includes the new Security Alert Monitor feature for monitoring ATM and POS transactions.

Thorough evaluation of GAMMA monitoring

Vancity selected GAMMA after a thorough evaluation process. After this, the ABRIS team implemented the solution on a T24 test system between April and July 2016. In addition, they also provided operator training in this period. Vancity monitored the test system with GAMMA for 3+ months. Satisfied with the results, the Canadian institution implemented the tool in the production environment by September 2016.

Full functionality

With the completion of the the project, Vancity now has a GAMMA setup with full functionality and is able to monitor both COB and online processes. ABRIS also introduced a new feature in the current version of GAMMA for Vancity called Security Alert Monitor – which monitors ATM & POS transactions.

Vancity is Abris’s sixth GAMMA client in Canada. Other are FirstOntario Credit Union, Caisse Financial Group , Canadian Western Bank, EQ Bank and Coast Capital Savings.
