ABRIS signs with two members of the Standard Bank Group

Budapest, May 2019 – Standard Bank Angola and Standard Bank Mozambique have purchased GAMMA with full functionality from ABRIS. The implementation of the T24 monitoring and automation tool is already in progress at both institutions of the Standard Bank Group.

RFP at Standard Bank Angola

Standard Bank Angola sent out a request for proposal for a T24 management solution last year. They were looking for a solution that improved the efficiency of their COB processes and eliminated user errors. Therefore, the focal requirement of the RFP was to replace manual intervention with COB automation. The proposal ABRIS delivered made a great impression – in fact, it triggered group-level interest in GAMMA.

POC at Standard Bank Mozambique

Following the discussions between ABRIS representatives and several Standard Bank Group stakeholders, Standard Bank Mozambique also decided to request a proof-of-concept project. Their focus was on IT operation monitoring to ensure prompt troubleshooting, comprehensive COB automation, as well as enhancements to security and alerting procedures. All requirements were met and ABRIS performed the successfully the POC remotely in late 2018.

GAMMA implementation in progress

The implementation is already in an advanced phase at Standard Bank Angola. Go-live is due at the end of spring 2019. ABRIS has also begun the implementation of GAMMA at Standard Bank Mozambique.
