RBC to implement GAMMA with full functionality

Trinidad, 20 June 2018 – Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) chose GAMMA for monitoring and automating the bank’s Temenos T24 operations. After a long selection process, RBC found GAMMA the most comprehensive tool for supporting their complete T24 operation.

After a very thorough selection process that lasted for a year and involved around 20 demos, RBC opted for implementing the full functionality of GAMMA with its impressive 6 modules that cover every aspect of Temenos T24 – Online monitor, COB monitor, COB Analyser, Service Level Management, Enterprise Level Scheduler and  Adminitration Dashboard –, so T24 operators can perform their daily tasks flawlessly, securely and proactively through GAMMA, without accessing Temenos T24.

RBC chose GAMMA because it found ABRIS’ solution to be the most comprehensive monitoring solution currently available on the market, covering all related interfaces and internal T24 operations. RBC obtained an Enterprise licence, which means they can use GAMMA in an unlimited number of environments.

As RBC Fincancial Caribbean is present in 11 countries, GAMMA will be implemented with multi-country settings, where a single T24 instance is responsible for RBC’s core banking operations in all 11 countries and GAMMA automates all 11 COBs. This is the most complex implementation in GAMMA’s history, where the theoretical 6 environments limit was extended to 11, which is feasible only in case of multi-country setups. GAMMA is now being implemented in the test environment, while go-live is expected this summer.
