FirstOntario Credit Union chooses GAMMA for T24 monitoring and operations

Hamilton, Canada 02 May 2016: FirstOntario Credit Union (FOCU) has selected GAMMA, the T24 Monitoring tool of Abris for T24 online and COB monitoring along with other banking operations. FOCU is Abris’s fourth GAMMA client in Canada after Canadian Western Bank (CWB), EQ Bank (EQB) and Caisse Financial Group (CFG). FOCU will be automating the full COB including pre- and post COB tasks. During the initial phase, automation of COB activities has highest priority for FOCU as they are still in the middle of T24 implementation. Later, FOCU will implement all other activities in T24 including, full online monitoring, backups, Clearing process, interface monitoring, jShell Activity Monitoring etc on Gamma.

FOCU got strong recommendations from other Abris’s Gamma clients in Canada and which helped them to understand the capability of Gamma and shortlisted it as an operational tool. Recently, the security auditors were impressed with the capability of Gamma to report all security events while doing the audits in other banks and they too started recommending Gamma to other clients in Cannada. Abris team has started the project with a proof of concept (POC) and as the FOCU technical team were impressed with the capability, decided to go ahead with implementing Gamma as a monitoring tool for all t24 operations. The initial phase of implementation from offsite was started on first week of April 2016. Abris will also be providing training to the FOCU team to implement it in additional test environments. Gamma is capable of handling six different T24 installations per Gamma Server. FOCU bought a total of two Gamma licenses from Abris.
